Pinnacle Mansion explains how buying, owning and living in the world’s prime property markets actually works — the rules on who may buy, the taxes at each stage, residency routes, running costs and the questions worth asking before you sign. It is published by NorwegianSpark SA, a small independent publisher in Norway. It does not sell, list or broker property.

Editorial standards
The full process — who writes, who checks and how errors are fixed — is in our editorial policy.
- Sourced, or left out
- Every rate, threshold, date and statistic links to the official page it came from — a government, tax authority, land registry, statistics office or notarial body — and shows the date we read it. If we cannot source a number, we do not print it.
- No prices for things we cannot sell
- We publish no asking prices, no 'expected returns' and no market statistics except those of official statistics offices. We have no listings, no off-market access and no clients.
- Disagreements shown, not hidden
- When official sources disagree, or a page is out of date, the text says so. Announced changes are labelled as announcements until they are law.
- Arithmetic labelled as ours
- Where we combine two published rates — a surcharge on top of a base rate, say — we say that the total is our arithmetic, not the authority's figure.
- Illustrations are illustrations
- Photographs on this site are illustrative. None shows a property for sale, and captions say so.
- Not advice
- We explain how things work. We are not lawyers, notaries, tax advisers, financial advisers or estate agents, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell or structure anything.
How we are paid

No estate agency, developer, bank or government pays us, and none of the markets in the Atlas was chosen or described because of a commercial relationship.
Who we are
Thomas Lovas Lokoy
Co-founder
Thomas trained and worked as an electrician and house builder before turning to technology and publishing. That background shapes the practical side of Pinnacle Mansion — how houses are built, run and maintained — though he is not an architect, surveyor or lawyer, and does not write as one.
Øyvind
Co-founder
Øyvind built his career in insurance before founding a firm that helped people in Norway manage and reduce their debts. His focus on personal finance and consumer protection shapes how the publication treats money: plainly, with the risks stated.
Articles and dossiers are signed by Thomas Lovas Lokoy. They are researched and drafted with AI assistance; Thomas reads, fact-checks and approves every one before it is published. How that works is set out in our editorial policy.
Corrections
Rules change and we make mistakes. If a figure on this site no longer matches its official source, tell us at thomaslien@norwegianspark.com or through the contact page, with the page and the source. We correct the page and move its “updated” date — we do not move that date without a real edit.
